摘　　要：Nature,in Wuthering Heights,has played a central role in the novel.Natural objects such as moors,whinstone,weeds,thorn,etc.serve as metaphors to better describe the personalities of the characters,and such figurative use of nature helps to establish relations and comparison.Such figurative use of nature is throughout the novel to present the characters,and it makes the readers better understand their personalities and the choices they made.
