摘　　要：Animal is a necessary concept in every culture, and in order to express this concept, every culture has linguistic forms standing for different animals. This paper is a contrastive study of rabbit in Chinese and English languages on the basis of cognitive linguistics, aiming at shed some light on how people of different cultures use the concept of rabbit for further use to conceptualize the world respectively.
