摘　　要：牙周病是导致成年人牙齿丧失的主要原因,也是影响口腔和全身健康的主要因素之一。在口腔疾病诊治过程中,多个口腔医学的亚专业涉及牙周组织健康的维护问题。中华口腔医学会组织多个相关专业的专家,经过反复研讨,撰写了本专家共识,旨在增强口腔医学专业工作者维护牙周组织健康的意识,规范口腔诊疗行为。若能尽早发现和判定是否存在牙周病损及其损害程度,并进行适度干预,科学地判断修复、正畸、种植、牙体牙髓等诊疗活动的预后,则可提高口腔疾病的防治水平。
