摘　　要：Objective:To examine the characteristics of social support in college students from low-income families.Methods:Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) was administered on 91 low-income college students and 229 regular college students in a comprehensive university.Results:The social support level in low-income students was significantly lower than that of their peers.Gender had a significant impact on the social support level.Conclusion:Family economic status had an important effect on social support level in low-imcome college students.
