摘　　要：Altogether,Dropping out of school is a relatively hot issue in the society of the U.S..The risk of dropping out is much higher for students who grow up with only one parent as compared with students who live with both biological parents.This article is going to identify single parents’significant effect on students’dropout rate and explain reasons why single parents have those effects on students’drop out rate from economic perspective.
