摘　　要：In an information technology era where knowledge economy begins to enter people’s daily life,how will the library and information industry in China take the road of entire,automatic,networked,digitalized and industrialized development so as to build up a high level,high efficiency and high quality modern documentary information support system?This paper suggests a lateral federation for the utilization of documentary information be set up.A systematic exposition of its related problems is given.
