摘　　要：Four main features of knowledge management in the information service industry are discussed.The paper holds one of its kernels is the management of dominant knowledge,that is,the management of current library collections,the other is the transformation,elaboration and management of recessive knowledge in the brains of the personnel.The paper proposes 3 conditions for the realization of knowledge management in the library.
