摘　　要：Branched continued fraction and Samelson inverse are used to construct bivariate vector valued rational interpolants over rectangular grids with a prescribed set of poles. Some efficient algorithms are established for diagonal and nondiagonal interpolants problems. Their characterization, existance, uniqueness and remainder term are discussed.
