摘　　要：In foreign language and second langrage learning, learners are strongly affected by motivation which falls in two categories, integrative and instrumental. Other less influential motivational theories contribute to our understanding of motivation as well. This paper aims at analyzing the influence of both internal motivation variables and external motivation variables upon foreign language learning.
