摘　　要：The present paper makes a detailed comparison about the use and collocation of'keep'between LOB and SLESSON.It reveals the authentic use of'keep'and offers a model to vocabulary teaching assisted by corpora.It also indicates the implication of corpus linguistics to EFL teaching.
