摘　　要：On November 19th, the Symposium on Coordinated Development of Economy and Society in Yangtze River Delta Region was held in the city of Ningbo, this is a summary of the symposium. At this symposium, social sciences experts and scholars from Zhejiang, Shanghai and Jiangsu brought up many valuable ideas about the development of economy and society in Yangtze River Delta. The experts have considered that we should further promote the innovation of region cooperation mechanism and promote the integration of Yangtze River Delta through the urban-rural integration and market integration. The experts also emphasized that during the cooperation and development of Yangtze River Delta, we must deal properly with the relationship of economic development and social development. In order to guarantee the coordinated development of economy and society, we should construct and share the public service system in Yangtze River Delta and solve these important problems related much to people’s life, such as the coordinated development of urban-rural and the protection of peasant workers’ right.
