摘　　要：Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of combination of smecta and P.O.Bifidobigen in treatment of infantile diarrhea .Methods 100 cases with infantile diarrhea were collected randomly. 6 2cases were treated with combination of smecta and P.O.Bifi dobige n,while 62 cases were treated with s mecta alone .Results 62 cases(62%)showed an obvious efficacy ;30 cases(30%)did effective;8cases(8%)showed no effective .The total effective rate was 92.4%.For infectious and symptomatic diarrhea,there was not difference of effective rates between the two therapies.For digestive dysfunction and chronic diarrhea accomplished with malnutrition,just the combination of the two drugs showed efficacy .Conclusions For infantile diarrhea,the combination of smecta and P.O. Bifidobigen can result in efficacy in addition to controlling its causes.
