摘　　要：Every day,we are all influenced by themass media.Although some critics of the mediaclaim that these means of communication areused mainly to control our thinking and get usto buy products that we don’t need,the mediaalso contribute to keeping people informed.Inother words, while dangers do exist,the benefitsof the media far outweigh(超过) the disadvantages.Most of the messages brought to viewers,listen-ers,and readers are designed either to inform orto entertain,and neither of these goals can beconsidered dangerous or harmful.
