摘　　要：The inheritance of the thrown between the brothers of the first emperor and the second emperor of Beisong Dynasty does not conform to the system of the inheritance to the wife’s eldest son,and the ambiguity of historical record made the historical legend of “Shadow of Candle and Sound of Axe” mystery for thousands of years,Through the exploration and reorganization of related materials,in combination with the logical and reasonable conclusion,the thesis tries to discover the answer to the mystery:The truth is that the first emperor of Beisong Dynasty seized the thrown instead of killing his elder brother.
